The African church is experiencing unprecedented, exponential growth. Never before has there been such a need for pastors and future pastors to be adequately trained and equipped to minister to the thousands of new Christians being added each day.
To help accomplish this, Educate International provides funds to the West African Theological Seminary, W.A.T.S, the largest non-denominational seminary in west Africa. These funds enable W.A.T.S to provide full tuition and fees scholarships to pastors and aspiring pastors who have the call and gifting to be leaders, but cannot afford a seminary education.
-
E.I.I. encourages local schools to raise their own funds for building/expansion projects.
-
However, E.I.I. may provide up to a 25% subsidy for such projects.
-
E.I.I. ships materials such as books, stationery, computers, toys, non-perishable food items, are kits, first aid boxes, and hygiene items donated by local organizations and individuals.
-
E.I.I. provides funds to cover up to 40% of the yearly cost of Christian curricula and required textbooks.
In 2004, E.I.I. will begin organizing mission trips for individuals, organizations and church groups who wish to assist people in developing countries by providing physical, emotional, or spiritual comfort/aid.
